A team of former Skylanders developers has announced Voidling Bound, a new monster-collecting action game for PC scheduled to launch next year. Watch the announcement trailer above and browse the first screenshots in the gallery below.
Hatchery Games promises rich third-person combat, along with branching paths that let you customize your Voidling’s look, playstyle, abilities, and elemental affinity. You can level them up, breed them, collect them, and craft them. The studio describes its sci-fi setting this way: "With no defense against a devastating parasite that threatens all life, humanity must join forces with newly discovered Voidlings—harnessing their full power through a neural link. Become one, bound together as the final hope in our struggle to survive."
