Spearheaded by user verdantsf, the campaign was born out of a desire to pay forward the kindness they once received during tough times. Initially, verdantsf gifted five copies of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to fellow users, and due to an overwhelming response, followed up with another five. In total, games worth approximately $600 were distributed.

After receiving five additional copies from Warhorse, the third batch was sent out. "The developers are amazing. Thank you for the collector’s edition!" verdantsf expressed gratitude, also praising the subreddit moderators for fostering such a positive community.
