"Wuthering Waves 1.4 Phase II 'When the Night Knocks' Now Released"

Author : Patrick Jun 13,2025

Wuthering Waves has officially launched phase two of its version 1.4 update, bringing players deeper into the immersive world of *When the Night Knocks*. While this update doesn't introduce major gameplay changes, it does offer a wide variety of in-game events packed with exclusive rewards—perfect for both returning and new players looking to enhance their experience.

New Featured Resonators in Version 1.4 Phase Two

Starting from December 12th through January 1st, the event *When Thunder Pours* introduces a fresh set of featured resonators. This includes the powerful five-star **Yinlin**, alongside four-star options **Lumi**, **Baizhi**, and **Yuanwu**. Notably, Yinlin is exclusive to this event window, so players who wish to add him to their roster should act before it concludes.

Concurrently, the Celestial Revelation event runs during the same period, spotlighting another top-tier five-star resonator—Xiangli Yao—alongside the ever-reliable four-star team of Lumi, Baizhi, and Yuanwu. As with Yinlin, Xiangli Yao will not be available after the event ends, making this your only opportunity to obtain him for now.

Exclusive Weapons and Boosted Drop Rates

Weapon enthusiasts won’t be left out either. The *Stringmaster* and *Verity's Handle* weapon banners are live from December 12th to January 1st. Both feature exclusive five-star weapons—**Stringmaster** and **Verity’s Handle**—which will also disappear once the event wraps up.

For those aiming to pull big, there's good news: weapons like Waning Redshift, Jinzhou Keeper, and Hollow Mirage come with boosted drop rates. Additionally, if you land a five-star weapon during these events, you're guaranteed to receive the featured one—making your pulls more rewarding than ever.

Additional Events During the Festive Season

Beyond character and weapon banners, Wuthering Waves is rolling out a full slate of seasonal content. This includes:
  • Pioneer Association Events
  • Featured Combat Events
  • Recurring Combat Events
  • Limited-Time Material Drop Events

These events run throughout the holiday season and into early January, offering plenty of opportunities to collect valuable resources and in-game items.

Whether you're celebrating the holidays or just looking for a reason to dive back into the game, version 1.4 phase two delivers a compelling array of activities and exclusives that shouldn’t be missed.
