S8UL to Represent India at Pokémon Unite WCS Finals

Author : Aaliyah Apr 14,2025

The world of esports is buzzing with excitement as S8UL has secured their spot to represent India at the Pokémon Unite World Championship Series (WCS) following an intense local Qualifier. This achievement marks a significant comeback for S8UL, who faced a setback during the Pokémon Unite Asia Champions League, where they exited early and missed out on the ACL competition. Now, with renewed vigor, S8UL is set to compete in the WCS Finals in the USA this August.

The journey to the WCS was far from straightforward for S8UL. After losing their opening match in the India Qualifiers, the team found themselves battling from the lower bracket, facing an uphill climb. Despite the odds, S8UL demonstrated their resilience and skill by overpowering formidable opponents such as Team Dynamis, QML, and Revenant XSpark to clinch the top spot.

Championship PerformanceThis isn't the first time S8UL has aimed to represent India on the global stage. They were also slated to compete in the 2024 WCS but were unable to participate due to visa issues that prevented their travel to Honolulu. With cross-border travel to the US still presenting challenges, the team is undoubtedly mindful of these potential hurdles as they prepare for the WCS 2025 finals. Hopefully, S8UL will overcome these obstacles and showcase their prowess at the upcoming championship.

As the esports scene continues to thrive, with the PMGO finals for PUBG Mobile also on the horizon, fans and players alike are eager to see what S8UL will achieve in the Pokémon Unite WCS.
