Firaxis Games unveiled the post-launch roadmap for Sid Meier's Civilization VII during a recent livestream. The roadmap details substantial updates planned for 2025, including several DLC packs and free content updates.

Paid DLC will arrive in two parts, collectively known as the Crossroads of the World Collection. Part one (early March) includes Leader Ada Lovelace, four Natural Wonders, and the Carthage and Great Britain civilizations. Part two (late March) features Leader Simon Bolivar and the Bulgaria and Nepal civilizations. Free content releases are also scheduled for early and late March, featuring new Natural Wonder events and Wonders themselves (Battle event and Bermuda Triangle in early March; Marvelous Mountains event and Mount Everest in late March).

Further paid content, the Right Rule Collection, is slated for release this summer, adding two new leaders, four civilizations, and four New World Wonders. Additional free content and updates are planned from April through September. Firaxis promises continued support from October 2025 onward. Specific release dates remain unannounced.
