War Thunder's "Firebirds" Update: Stealth, Power, and New Vehicles!

Gaijin Entertainment has announced the upcoming "Firebirds" update for War Thunder, arriving in early November. This major update introduces a host of exciting new aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships.

New Aircraft: A Trio of Titans

Prepare for takeoff with some iconic additions to War Thunder's aerial arsenal:

  • F-117A Nighthawk: Experience the thrill of piloting the first stealth aircraft in War Thunder. Its unique design, radar-absorbing materials, and advanced technology made it a legendary ghost in the skies during Operation Desert Storm.

  • Su-34 Fullback: This Russian fighter-bomber brings immense firepower to the battlefield.

  • F-15E Strike Eagle: An upgraded F-15 variant, the Strike Eagle boasts a significantly increased payload capacity and advanced targeting systems, including AGM-65 Mavericks, laser-guided bombs, JDAMs, and even GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs (20 at a time!).

Beyond the Skies: Ground and Naval Additions

The "Firebirds" update isn't just about air superiority. New ground and naval forces are joining the fight:

  • FV107 Scimitar (UK): A nimble light tank offering unique tactical advantages.

  • Dunkerque (France): A powerful French battleship, adding another formidable warship to the game.

Aces High Season and More

The new Aces High season is underway, offering players the chance to unlock unique vehicles, trophies, and rewards through Battle Pass completion. This includes aircraft like the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11, ground vehicles such as the T54E2 and G6, and ships like the HMS Orion and USS Billfish.
