Pokémon Unite Marks 3rd Anniversary with Legendary Ho-oh Celebration

Author : Aiden Apr 02,2025

Pokémon UNITE is marking its 3rd anniversary with a bang, introducing the legendary Pokémon Ho-oh to its roster on both mobile and Nintendo Switch platforms. Ho-oh, a ranged defender, comes with a special ability called Regenerator, which enables it to recover HP over time, provided it avoids taking damage from opponents within a specific timeframe. This can be a game-changer in prolonged battles.

Ho-oh's Unite Move, Rekindling Flame, is particularly unique. By consuming all of its Aeos energy, Ho-oh can revive knocked-out allies. The more Aeos energy it uses, the more teammates it can bring back into the fray, making it a crucial asset for turning the tides in intense matches.

From now until August 11th, players can dive into various in-game events, including the return of the Panic Parade Revival event, a thrilling tower defense mode. In this event, which lasts until September 4th, your mission is to safeguard Tinkaton from relentless waves of attacking Pokémon.

During the Ho-Oh Commemorative event, you have the chance to earn one free die daily. By rolling this die, you advance on the game board, and completing missions tied to the square you land on grants you another die. Collect 1000 Divine Forest coins during this event, and you'll have the opportunity to trade them for Ho-Oh's Unite license, adding this majestic Pokémon to your team.

Additionally, the Charizard Unite License Distribution event runs through September 2nd. Log in during this period to claim one of three rewards: a Charizard-themed hat fashion item, Charizard's Unite license, or 100 Aeos coins. Remember, you can only claim one item, so choose wisely!

To top it off, Pokémon UNITE is rolling out a new Battle Pass with a striking black flames theme. Available from July 21st to September 4th, purchasing this Battle Pass will unlock the regal Dark Lord Style: Charizard holowear as you level up. Pokémon UNITE is accessible on the App Store, Google Play, and Nintendo Switch. For more details, head over to the official website.
