Prepare for increased wild spawns of Karrablast and Shelmet, boosting your chances of catching these Pokémon, including their Shiny variants! The real excitement lies in their evolutions.
Evolutionary Perks:
Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe grants you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack, Energy Ball (a substantial 90 power in all battle types).
Special and Timed Research:
Participate in the Special Research for encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. A Timed Research event follows, lasting a week after the main event. Logging in during Community Day unlocks tasks rewarding encounters with these special-background Pokémon.
