Application Description

War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is an exhilarating real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game that offers intense player-versus-player (PvP) action. In WOE, one player initiates a match, inviting others to join and engage in fierce battles. Players enjoy a high degree of freedom with the ability to manually control all types of units and buildings, making every decision crucial to victory.

Main Elements

WOE immerses players in the medieval ages, simulating 18 powerful Empires or civilizations, including China, Japan, Persia, Teutonic, Mongolian, Gothic, Maya, and more. Each Empire features 8 types of regular units and 1 unique unit, adding a layer of strategic depth to the gameplay. While regular units such as Swordsmen, Pikemen, Archers, Light Cavalry, and Aries are consistent across all Empires, each civilization boasts a unique unit like Mongolia's Riders, Persia's War Elephants, and Spain's Conquistadors.

Buildings play a critical role in WOE, with structures like Towers, Turrets, Castles, and Blacksmith Shops influencing the outcome of battles. For instance, Towers become formidable when staffed with 5 farmers, enabling them to unleash a volley of 6 arrows, while Turrets are essential for demolishing enemy structures.

Each Empire in WOE has distinct advantages and disadvantages, such as the Huns not requiring houses, thus saving time, and their Cavalry being 20% cheaper and upgradable to Rangers. Conversely, the Teutonic warriors are powerful but slow, reminiscent of historical Spartan warriors. Players can explore detailed introductions to each Empire within the game.

Highlights

The core gameplay of WOE revolves around balancing multiple strategies simultaneously: developing the economy by producing and protecting farmers, harassing enemy units to gain early advantages, and ultimately destroying the opponent's forces. Cooperation is key, as players must form legions with allies to overcome numerically superior enemies and protect vulnerable yet high-damage units.

Understanding unit counters and fostering teamwork are vital. For example, Pikemen restrain Cavalry, Cavalry overpower Archers, Archers counter Pikemen, Slaves on camels subdue Cavalry, and Koryo Carriages dominate other ranged units. Mastering these relationships enhances strategic gameplay.

Game Modes

WOE features two primary resources: Food and Gold. As players progress, they can upgrade their Town Center (TC) from the dark ages to the feudal, castle, and emperor eras, unlocking advanced technologies, buildings, and units. The game simplifies into four modes, with Normal Mode and Imperial Deathmatch Mode being the most popular:

- **Normal Mode**: Characterized by limited resources, this mode emphasizes development and early harassment tactics. It's complex yet highly engaging.

- **Imperial Deathmatch Mode**: Players start in the emperor era with ample resources, allowing for immediate, intense battles.

Main Features

After four years of operation in China and numerous upgrades, WOE is now at version 1.8.n. Key features include:

  • Player vs. CPU battles
  • Network play for seamless multiplayer experiences
  • Spectator mode to watch matches
  • Replay functionality to review and learn from games
  • Map creation tools for custom battles
  • Legion system for organized team play
  • Friends list to connect with other players
  • Chat system for in-game communication

War of Empire Conquest offers a rich, strategic experience for RTS enthusiasts, blending historical depth with dynamic gameplay.
