- The game begins with one card on the table and six cards dealt to each player.
- The first player to discard all their cards wins the game.
- On your turn, you must play a card that matches the top card on the table by either number or suit.
- If you can't play a matching card, draw one from the Draw Pile. If you still can't play, click the "Pass" button.
- Before playing your second-to-last card, click the Hand button to signal that you're close to winning. A raised hand icon will appear next to your avatar, alerting others that you have only one card left.
Special cards add an exciting twist to the game:
- The Jack is a wild card and can be played on any card except another Jack. When played, you choose the suit for the next player.
- An Eight skips the next player's turn.
- A Seven forces the next player to draw two cards, unless they can play another Seven, escalating the penalty.
- The Queen reverses the direction of play.
- Playing an Ace allows you another turn, meaning you can't end the game with an Ace because you must play again.
- The Two of Clubs makes the next player draw four cards.
