Story
Your adventure begins in a forest near the village of Riders, where you, along with your friends Lilia and Cheval, discover a mysterious shining egg. In a playful act, you perform the Rite of Kinship, only to be astounded when it actually works! The egg hatches into a baby Rathalos, known as “the King of the Skies,” whom you affectionately name “Ratha” and bring back to your village.
Tragedy strikes when a monster infected with “the Black Blight” attacks your village, leaving devastation in its wake and deep scars in the hearts of Cheval and Lilia. A year later, you receive a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief, officially becoming a Rider. As Cheval and Lilia embark on their separate journeys, you, alongside the cheerful Navirou, set out on a new adventure into the world of hunters. A tale of friendship and triumph awaits—ride on into the world of Monster Hunter Stories!

- Battle Party QR codes from the Japanese version will not work in this version.
