A Record-Breaking Unboxing Livestream

The Pokémon Company International shattered the Guinness World Record for the longest unboxing livestream on November 26, 2024. This marathon event celebrated the launch of Scarlet & Violet - Surging Sparks, the newest Pokémon TCG expansion.

The livestream, hosted on Pokémon's official Twitch channel, featured well-known internet personalities including Serebii's Joe Merrick, PokeGirl Ranch, and Mayplaystv. Over 24 hours, this trio opened over 1,500 booster packs and other Pokémon products, resulting in an estimated 20,000+ cards, as reported by the official Pokémon Press website.

The celebration continues! The Pokémon Press website promises further giveaways on participating creators' channels in the coming weeks. The massive card collection will be organized and donated to charities, including Barnardo's in the UK, before the holidays.

This expansion introduces Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, such as the defensively powerful Archaludon ex.

Iconic Dragon-type Pokémon like Palkia, Dialga, Eternatus, Alolan Exeggutor ex, and Tatsugiri ex also make an appearance. The expansion features Illustration Rare and Special Illustration Rare cards, including Alolan Dugtrio and Feebas, showcasing serene ocean scenes. New Tera Pokémon ex, like Pallossand ex and Flygon ex, add exciting options for TCG players.

The expansion is also available digitally via the Pokémon TCG Live app, offering in-game rewards for collecting and battling with the new Stellar Tera Pokémon ex.
