6 Popular Cartoon Network Games Discontinued

Warner Bros. Discovery's sudden removal of several Cartoon Network and Adult Swim games has sparked significant backlash from fans. Without explanation, at least six titles vanished from digital storefronts like Steam and the Nintendo eShop on December 23rd, 2024. This action leaves fans unable to legally purchase these beloved games.

The delistings are attributed to Warner Bros. Discovery's cost-cutting measures, a strategy previously employed with film projects and streaming content. A similar incident occurred in March 2024, involving Adult Swim games, although public pressure prevented a complete removal of many titles then.

The affected games include:

  • Adventure Time: Finn and Jake's Epic Quest (released April 2014)
  • Adventure Time: Magic Man's Head Games
  • OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes (released 2018)
  • Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time (released 2020)
  • Steven Universe: Save the Light (released 2018)
  • Steven Universe: Unleash the Light (released 2021)

Each game's storefront listing displayed a brief message announcing its removal, attributed to Cartoon Network Games or Adult Swim Games. The absence of a clear explanation has fueled fan frustration, particularly concerning Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, whose removal effectively cuts off access to the show's canonical season five conclusion.

Interestingly, some Cartoon Network games remain available, such as Cartoon Network Journeys VR and Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake. The soundtrack for OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes also persists. Warner Bros. Discovery, Cartoon Network Games, and Adult Swim Games have yet to offer a public explanation for this controversial decision.
