Starting today, Dell is offering an incredible deal on the Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC, equipped with the cutting-edge GeForce RTX 5080 GPU for just $2,399.99, including shipping. This is one of the most competitive prices currently available for a prebuilt system with an RTX 5080, especially noteworthy since other brands have been increasing their prices since the RTX 50 series was launched in January. At Dell, the only other prebuilt PC with an RTX 5080 is priced over $4,000. And if you're considering building your own PC, good luck finding a standalone RTX 5080 GPU; you might end up spending as much on the GPU alone as you would on this complete system.

This Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU and a GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, complemented by 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265F, a Meteor Lake CPU, boasts a maximum turbo frequency of 5.3GHz with 20 cores and a 30MB cache. It's cooled by a robust 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler, and the system is powered by a 1,000W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.

The RTX 5080 is one of three new Blackwell graphics cards that have hit the market, though they're incredibly hard to find. In our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 FE review, Jackie notes that, "If you already have a high-end graphics card from the last couple of years, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 might not be worth the upgrade – it doesn't offer a significant performance lead over the RTX 4080. However, the extra frames from DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation enhance the visual experience in supported games. For gamers with older graphics cards looking for a substantial performance boost, the RTX 5080 is a compelling choice, especially if you're keen on leveraging Nvidia's AI enhancements."

New for 2025: The Alienware Area-51 Chassis

The I/O panel is now at the top of the case, and the tempered glass window spans the entire side panel, eliminating the need for side panel vents. Air intakes are now located at the bottom and front of the case, promoting a positive airflow design that helps maintain a cleaner interior. The internal components have been refreshed with a new motherboard, faster RAM, and a more powerful power supply to support the latest CPUs and RTX 50 series GPUs.

RTX 5080 and 5090 GPUs Are Sold Out Everywhere
