Since its release over a month ago, Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) has captivated fans worldwide. Ubisoft, the game's developer, is committed to enhancing the gaming experience with a robust year 1 post-launch roadmap. Announced on Twitter (X) on May 1, the roadmap promises a series of updates that will keep players engaged.

One of the highlights of the roadmap is the introduction of new Story Drops. These are multiple free content updates that enrich the game's narrative. Ubisoft explains, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."

In addition to the free content, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first expansion, "The Claws of Awaji," slated for later this year. This DLC will take players to the island of Awaji, a brand-new region to explore post-epilogue. Players can expect to encounter new enemies, gain new abilities for both protagonists, and wield an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
