Bendy and the Ink Machine is back on mobile with a new game, Bendy: Lone Wolf! Building on the formula of Boris and the Dark Survival, this top-down isometric survival horror title arrives on iOS, Android, Switch, and Steam in 2025.
Remember the quirky horror that swept the mid-2010s? The episodic structure, rubber-hose enemies, and captivating story made Bendy and the Ink Machine a hit. Now, the franchise returns to mobile with Lone Wolf.
The reveal trailer (see below) showcases gameplay as Boris the Wolf, navigating the perils of Joey Drew Studios. The original Bendy and the Ink Machine, along with Nightmare Run and Boris and the Dark Survival, are already available on mobile. Lone Wolf draws heavily from Dark Survival, but whether it's a refined version or a completely new experience remains to be seen.
The Bendy franchise maintains significant popularity, a pioneer in the mascot horror genre alongside Five Nights at Freddy's. Lone Wolf's success will depend on its execution, as it's not the first isometric survival horror featuring Boris. However, its release on Steam and Switch suggests a potentially enhanced and more terrifying experience than its mobile predecessor.
