Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon: Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free). Launching next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android, this new title combines the turn-based combat of its predecessor with roguelite elements for a highly replayable experience. The Steam page highlights 10 ever-changing biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is available for free on mobile. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and whether its release aligns with the Switch and Steam versions. You can add Coromon: Rogue Planet to your Steam wishlist now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds more engaging, and the Steam screenshots suggest it's perfectly suited for short bursts of play.
