How To Craft & Level Up Gems In Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Gem crafting in Dynasty Warriors: Origins revolves around Pyroxene, which you can use at any Inn or tent within the game. Once in your room, select the "Create Gems" option, the second from the top. Here, you can use your Pyroxene to craft gems at a one-to-one ratio. There are five distinct types of gems that you can craft, and each Pyroxene you use has a chance of producing any one of these gems.
After crafting a base gem, it starts at level 1 and can be equipped from your Battle Preparations menu. Each subsequent gem of the same type that you craft will contribute XP to the base gem, leveling it up and enhancing its effectiveness with every level gained. If you're not particular about which gems you get, feel free to use all your Pyroxene at once to craft multiple gems, leveling them up randomly across the board.
For those who have specific gems in mind, there's a feature called "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" that might activate each time you craft a single gem. This feature narrows down the pool of possible gems to three randomly selected ones for all the Pyroxene you use until you exit and re-enter the gem crafting menu. While crafting one gem at a time can be a bit tedious, it's a strategy to use if you're aiming to focus on a particular gem.
Remember, "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" helps to mitigate the randomness of gem crafting but doesn't eliminate it entirely.

Where To Get Pyroxene In Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Pyroxene can be found scattered throughout the overworld, appearing as orange crystals protruding from the ground. Interacting with these crystals will net you one Pyroxene, and the crystal will then disappear. After completing a Skirmish or Battle, new Pyroxene will respawn across the overworld map, encouraging you to revisit and explore previously cleared areas. Additionally, you might occasionally receive Pyroxene from letters, which you can read in your room at an Inn or a tent.
