The game doesn't allow immediate equipment use; resource collection is key. This involves gathering plants, flowers, animal products (wool, feathers), and more. Here's how to maximize your gathering:
Collect Everything: Don't overlook any item; even seemingly insignificant flowers might be crucial later.
Animal Grooming: Use a special grooming suit (accessed via the Tab key, look for the brush icon) to collect animal products.
Approach animals and hold the right mouse button until a blue brush icon appears above them; then release. Not all animals are friendly; sneaking up (holding the right mouse button) prevents them from fleeing.
