Crunchyroll Drops Roguelike Rhythm Game Crypt Of The NecroDancer On Android

Crunchyroll brings the rhythm-based roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, to Android! Now available as "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," this beat-matching adventure offers a unique gameplay experience. Initially released on PC in 2015, and previously on iOS and Android, this Crunchyroll release boasts expanded content for both mobile platforms.

What awaits in the Crypt of the NecroDancer?

Players step into the shoes of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter searching for her missing parent within a rhythmically challenging crypt. The roguelike nature ensures every playthrough is different.

Fifteen playable characters, each with distinct styles, add replayability. Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack sets the pace, demanding players move and attack in time with the music. Failure to maintain the beat results in failure. Expect to encounter a variety of dancing enemies, from skeletons to surprisingly hip-hop-loving dragons.

More Than Just a Port

This mobile version isn't just a simple port. Crunchyroll and Brace Yourself Games have added remixes, new content, and even Danganronpa character skins. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also included. Further, DLC featuring Hatsune Miku and the Synchrony expansion is planned for later this year.

Crunchyroll subscribers can download Crypt of the NecroDancer now from the Google Play Store. Stay tuned for more gaming news, including the upcoming Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
