DanMachi Battle Chronicle EOS: Offline Version to Remain

The popular 3D action RPG *DanMachi Battle Chronicle*, officially known as *Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Battle Chronicle*, has announced its End of Service (EOS). Aiming, the game’s developer and publisher, has confirmed that the title will be shutting down permanently.

When is the DanMachi Battle Chronicle EOS?

The final shutdown date for *DanMachi Battle Chronicle* is set for **September 29th, 2025**. On this date, the game will no longer be available for download via the Google Play Store, App Store, or PC (Windows version). Additionally, customer support across all platforms will cease operation on the same day.

Paid Selas sales will stop following maintenance on **July 30th**, though players can still utilize any remaining in-game currency until the service ends. Refund requests for Paid Selas will be accepted from **September 29th to December 28th**, giving users ample time to process any outstanding balances.

On **July 31st**, the official *DanChro* Discord server will shut down, and the in-game mission titled “Join the Community,” accessible through the Option menu, will be removed later in July. Furthermore, tokens earned during the Training Camp event will expire after the final event concludes.

An offline version of the game is planned for both Android and iOS devices—but only for Japanese players and with limited functionality. Users in Japan will have the opportunity to transfer some progress to this offline version before the full service shutdown.

There's One Last Event!

Originally launched in August 2023—following its announcement in July of the same year—the game will commemorate its two-year anniversary just before its EOS. The celebration kicks off on **July 30th** and includes an original event story created exclusively for this occasion. However, it won’t include new quests or ranking systems.

As part of the final content update, a special limited-edition Scene Card will be distributed to players. A promotional video for the event is scheduled to go live on **July 21st**, offering a sneak peek into what players can expect.

This follows the closure of another series entry, *DanMachi Memoria Freese*, which enjoyed a seven-year run before closing its doors in February 2024. The trend appears to be shifting, with gacha RPGs experiencing shorter lifespans overall.

Before it's gone for good, you still have time to experience *DanMachi Battle Chronicle*. You can download it now via the [Google Play Store](#).
