Dark Avengers Assemble for Marvel Snap's Latest Reign

Author : Nicholas Jan 19,2025

Marvel Snap's latest season plunges into the dark side with a thrilling Dark Avengers theme. Norman Osborn's villainous team replaces the familiar faces of the Avengers, bringing a fresh wave of power to the game.

This season introduces a roster of new cards inspired by Marvel's Dark Reign storyline, following the events of Civil War. Norman Osborn, having seized control of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s remnants (now H.A.M.M.E.R.), assembles his own sinister Avengers.

Players can collect a range of formidable villains: Norman Osborn as Iron Patriot, Victoria Hand (January 7th), Bullseye (January 21st), Moonstone (January 14th), and Ares (January 28th). A new location, the besieged Asgard, adds another layer of strategic depth. Careful placement of Ares is advised to prevent power reduction near the Sentry.

A new era of darkness

This season offers a welcome return of familiar and lesser-known Marvel characters. Each villain brings unique abilities; for example, Victoria Hand boosts the power of cards in your hand, while Norman Osborn summons a random high-cost card, potentially reducing its cost based on your next turn's victory.

Further rewards include a new Daken card portraying him as Wolverine, alongside various cosmetic items to express your villainous loyalty. This season also marks the arrival of Galacta, a popular character from Marvel Rivals.
