In Destiny 2's annual Dawning event, players bake treats for NPCs using gathered ingredients. While recipes often repeat, new ones occasionally appear. This guide details crafting the Neomun-Cake.
Neomun-Cake Recipe
To bake a Neomun-Cake, you need:
- Vex Milk (from defeating Vex enemies)
- Dark Frosting (from defeating enemies using Stasis or Strand weapons/abilities)
- 15 Dawning Essence (earned through various in-game activities)
Dawning Essence is readily acquired through standard gameplay, weekly, and daily activities.
For efficient ingredient farming, equip a Stasis or Strand weapon (abilities also work). Nessus offers a high concentration of Vex enemies; patrol freely or tackle Lost Sectors. Strikes are an alternative, but Nessus is generally quicker.
Crafting the Neomun-Cake
Once you've collected all ingredients, open your inventory and access Eva Levante's Holiday Oven 2.4. Select the Neomun-Cake recipe to begin crafting.
The Dawning often involves baking various items for different NPCs. The Neomun-Cake is a requirement for some quests, such as the Cookie Delivery Helper quest (which also needs older recipes like Lavender Ribbon Cookies).
