Destiny Child's Idle RPG Rebirth Announced

Author : Logan Dec 24,2024

Destiny Child

Destiny Child is returning! Originally launched in 2016 and archived in September 2023, this beloved title is being revived by Com2uS, taking over development from ShiftUp.

Will it be the same?

Com2uS and ShiftUp have partnered to create a brand-new Destiny Child experience – an idle RPG! Development is spearheaded by Com2uS's Tiki Taka Studio, known for titles like the tactical RPG, Arcana Tactics. While retaining the charm of the original, including its captivating 2D characters and emotional core, the new game will feature completely revamped gameplay mechanics.

Remember the Memorial?

Destiny Child initially captivated players with its enchanting characters and dynamic real-time battles. Following its closure after nearly seven years, ShiftUp released a memorial version, allowing players to revisit the game.

While the memorial app isn't a fully functional game, it provides a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Players can admire the stunning character art and reconnect with their beloved Childs. Access requires verification using prior game data, limiting access to those with pre-shutdown accounts. It’s a lovely way to appreciate the character designs and class systems, even without the battles. Download it from the Google Play Store and enjoy the illustrations until the new game launches.
