Eevee Returns for Pokémon Go July Community Day Classic

Author : Elijah Jun 25,2025

After Jangmo-o shines during Pokémon GO’s June Community Day on the 21st, the excitement continues into July. The spotlight is shifting to a beloved fan favorite for the next Community Day Classic. Eevee, the Evolution Pokémon, will take center stage across the weekend of July 5th and 6th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.

During this event window, Eevee will appear more frequently in the wild, and there's an increased chance to encounter a Shiny variant. Any Eevee caught or hatched during the event will know the powerful Charged Attack *Last Resort*. If you evolve Eevee into one of its eight forms by July 12th at 10:00 PM local time, it will learn exclusive event-specific moves—like *Scald* for Vaporeon or *Psyshock* for Sylveon.

This Community Day also brings back limited-time evolution conditions to make your journey easier. For example, evolving Espeon and Umbreon requires a shorter Buddy distance, and evolving into Sylveon only needs seven hearts. Additionally, players can enjoy various bonuses such as 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance, three-hour Lure Modules, and three-hour Incense effects. Don’t forget to snap a few photos in the field—you might just earn a surprise reward!

For even more rewards, a $1.99 Special Research ticket is available, offering Premium Battle Passes, Rare Candy XL, and special encounters with Eevee and its evolutions—including some with the charming *Delightful Days* background. Furthermore, Timed Research tasks earned by simply logging in during the event weekend will roll out through the week, giving you additional opportunities to find Eevee with the special background and enjoy boosted Shiny encounter rates.

Don’t miss your chance to participate in this exciting event and make the most of Eevee’s return. Be sure to redeem any active Pokémon GO codes to collect free in-game items and enhance your experience.

Looking forward, Community Day voting makes its return in August. On June 7th and 8th, fans can head over to Pokémon GO’s official YouTube channel to vote for which Pokémon should headline the next Community Day on August 30th. The candidates are Frillish, Wimpod, Rookidee, and Lechonk, each with a unique featured move if they win the vote.
