Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test: Sign-Ups Open January 10th
The highly anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign network test begins accepting registrations on January 10th, 2025. However, this initial beta will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is a cooperative Soulsborne experience set in The Lands Between, designed for three-player parties. The full game is slated for release in 2025.
This limited beta test is a standard step for online games before launch. While registration opens January 10th on the official website, the number of available spots remains undisclosed.
How to Register for the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test:
- Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website starting January 10th.
- Register, specifying your preferred console (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
- Await confirmation email (arriving no later than February 2025).
- Participate in the test during February 2025. Specific dates will be announced shortly.
Platform Limitations and Other Details:
This initial test's exclusivity to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is notable, given the game's planned release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Cross-platform play is not supported, meaning players will only be matched with others on the same console.
Progress made during the beta likely won't transfer to the full game. Future beta tests are possible, though unconfirmed.
Elden Ring Nightreign's multiplayer is limited to solo play or three-player parties; two-player parties are not supported. Whether the network test will have additional gameplay restrictions remains to be seen.
