Fortnite's latest update brings back beloved items! The popular battle royale game has reintroduced fan-favorite gear, including the Hunting Rifle and Launch Pad. This follows a recent hotfix for the OG mode, which also reinstated the classic Cluster Clinger. December's Winterfest event adds to the excitement, featuring quests, new items like Icy Feet and Blizzard Grenade, and exciting skins such as Mariah Carey and others.

Fortnite's Winterfest returns, blanketing the island in snow and offering event quests and unique items. Players can earn rewards from the Cozy Cabin and purchase premium skins. Beyond the holidays, Fortnite continues its collaborations, this time with Cyberpunk 2077 and Batman Ninja. The OG mode also received a significant update.

A recent hotfix for Fortnite's OG mode brought back the Launch Pad, a Chapter 1, Season 1 favorite. This classic traversal tool, predating other movement options, provided a strategic advantage for escaping danger or surprising opponents.

Fortnite Revives Classic Weapons and Gear

  • Hunting Rifle
  • Cluster Clinger

The Hunting Rifle (Chapter 3) also makes a comeback, offering long-range combat options, especially appreciated given the absence of sniper rifles in Chapter 6, Season 1. Cluster Clingers (Chapter 5) return to both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.

The success of Fortnite OG is undeniable, attracting 1.1 million players within two hours of its launch. An OG Item Shop was also introduced, offering classic skins and items for purchase. However, the return of ultra-rare skins like the Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper has sparked mixed reactions among players.
