Free PS Plus Games for January 2025 Are Available Now

PlayStation Plus January 2025 Games: Suicide Squad, Need for Speed, and More!

PlayStation Plus subscribers can now claim three exciting titles for free throughout January 2025! This month's lineup includes the action-packed Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the classic racing game Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and the critically acclaimed narrative adventure The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. These games are available until February 3rd.

Sony's monthly offering caters to all PlayStation Plus tiers (Essential, Extra, and Premium). Following December's selection of It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent, and Temtem, January's choices offer a diverse gaming experience. The lineup was revealed on New Year's Day and became available on January 7th.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a 2024 release and arguably one of the year's most talked-about PlayStation 5 titles, takes center stage. While its initial reception was mixed, PlayStation Plus subscribers will have the chance to experience this ambitious title for themselves. With a sizable 79.43 GB download on PS5, it's the largest of the three games.

The other two offerings provide a different flavor. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered (31.55 GB on PS4) offers a nostalgic racing experience, though it lacks native PS5 support, relying on backward compatibility. Finally, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe boasts native versions for both PS4 (5.10 GB) and PS5 (5.77 GB), presenting an expanded and enhanced version of the original game with added content and accessibility features.

To add all three games to your PS5 library, ensure you have at least 117 GB of free space. Sony is expected to announce February's PlayStation Plus games later in January. Throughout the year, the service will also continue to expand its Extra and Premium game libraries.
