Square Enix Announces Foamstars Free-to-Play Launch on October 4th

No More PS Plus Subscription Required

Foamstars Free-to-Play Announcement In a recent update, Square Enix revealed that Foamstars will transition to a free-to-play model starting October 4th, 2024, at 1:00 a.m. UTC. This also removes the need for a PlayStation Plus subscription to play. Currently priced at $29.99 for PS4 and PS5, the game will be available for free download.

A Thank You Gift for Early Adopters

Players who purchased Foamstars before the switch will receive a special "Legacy Gift," a unique in-game bundle including:

12 color variations of Bubble Beastie skins
1 exclusive Slide Board design
The "Legacy" title
