Author : Simon Jan 24,2025

Genshin Impact x McDonalds Get ready, Genshin Impact fans! A delicious collaboration is brewing between Genshin Impact and McDonald's. Details are still emerging, but here's what we know so far.

Genshin Impact x McDonald's: A Teyvat Treat

A recent exchange of playful tweets on X (formerly Twitter) has confirmed the exciting partnership. McDonald's initiated the conversation, prompting fans to participate in a cryptic text-based puzzle. Genshin Impact responded with a humorous image of Paimon sporting a McDonald's hat, confirming the collaboration.

Further fueling the excitement, HoYoverse shared a cryptic image on the Genshin Impact X account, featuring in-game items whose initials cleverly spelled out "McDonald's." McDonald's social media profiles have since been updated with Genshin-themed elements, hinting at a "new quest" launching September 17th.

Interestingly, this collaboration appears to have been in the works for quite some time. McDonald's subtly hinted at a potential partnership over a year ago, referencing Fontaine's potential for a drive-thru.

Genshin Impact x McDonalds Genshin Impact boasts a successful history of collaborations, ranging from video game partnerships like Horizon: Zero Dawn to real-world brands such as Cadillac. Even KFC in China has previously collaborated with the game. These collaborations have typically included exclusive in-game items, limited-edition merchandise, and unique cosmetic items.

This McDonald's collaboration has the potential for significant global reach. Unlike the KFC partnership, which was limited to China, the updated McDonald's US Facebook page suggests a broader rollout.

While specifics remain under wraps, the possibility of unique in-game items and perhaps even themed meals is certainly exciting. Mark your calendars for September 17th for the official reveal!
