Honkai Star Rail Version 3.0 Drops Soon with a New Storyline

Honkai Star Rail is launching its next big update, Version 3.0, on January 15th. Called Paean of Era Nova, this one has the Astral Express leaving Penacony and heading straight into Amphoreus, a new world.

What’s the Storyline in Honkai Star Rail Version 3.0?

The new planet is quite chaotic yet mysterious. The locals there don’t even know what’s outside their bubble. They worship Titans who wrecked it with civil wars and the black tide. Amphoreus is stuck in eternal night and humanity is about to die in the Holy City of Okhema.

Before telling you more about the storyline, let’s talk about the new characters. Version 3.0 is bringing two new characters to Honkai Star Rail. The Herta is a 5-star Ice-Type genius from the edge of the cosmos and an AoE damage queen.

Then there’s Aglaea, the dressmaster of Okhema and a Flame-Chase legend. She has synchronized combat with her memosprite Garmentmaker, delivering a combat style that’s as elegant as deadly. Watch the latest trailer for Version 3.0 here!

Back to the main story. Trailblazer and Dan Heng dive headfirst into the Abyss of Fate, a place that’s all eerie ruins and ancient legends. The three Titans, Time, Passage and Law, who once controlled time and space itself, are also here.

As you explore, you’ll meet Oronyx, the Titan of Time, and gain the Path of Remembrance. There’s Mem as well, your new adorable, squeaky companion who only says “Mem.”

The Adventure Doesn’t End There!

The final map in the Honkai Star Rail Version 3.0 update is the Vortex of Genesis. It’s a divine sanctuary for the Titans and the site of the Miracle of Genesis. It’s where all the Coreflames you collect will light up constellations, marking the epic journeys of the Chrysos Heirs.

Last but not least, Lingsha, Feixiao and Jade are back in the first half of the update, with Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf joining in the second half. Also, you get a new Preservation outfit for March 7th just for logging in during the update.

Gear up for the new update and grab Honkai Star Rail from the Google Play Store.
