Letterlike Is a New Word Game That’s Like Balatro But with Scrabble!

Wordsmiths, get ready for a new word game challenge! Letterlike, a roguelike word puzzle, blends the best of Balatro and Scrabble. Prepare for a unique mix of vocabulary skills and unpredictable roguelike elements – a truly novel combination!

Crafting Words in Letterlike

Letterlike's roguelike nature means each playthrough offers a fresh set of letters and procedurally generated challenges. The possibilities are endless, leading to endless victories (or hilarious defeats!).

Each game begins with a letter set. Your mission: create words, score points, and conquer levels. Each level consists of three rounds, each demanding a certain point total to advance. You have five attempts per round – use them wisely!

Facing a less-than-ideal letter combination? Don't despair! You can discard letters, but discards are limited, so choose carefully. A handy rearrange mode lets you drag, drop, and shuffle letters to your advantage.

The final round of each level introduces a twist: certain letters become useless, yielding zero points. Plan your strategy accordingly!

Earn points and rewards to unlock helpful items and buffs. Some buffs are automatic, while others require reaching specific levels. Collect gems to acquire powerful upgrades and conquer future runs with greater ease.

Ready to Play?

Letterlike is a simple, minimalist, yet incredibly addictive game. Share your runs (and those frustrating letter combinations!) with friends using shared seeds. The game is ad-free with a single in-app purchase, playable offline, and offers a free demo version. Find Letterlike on the Google Play Store and give it a try!
