"Marvel Snap Update Inspired by Captain America Film"

Author : Zoe Apr 16,2025

The latest season of Marvel Snap is all about legacy, with the introduction of Sam Wilson as the new Captain America. Alongside him, new characters like Diamondback and Thaddeus Ross are set to bring fresh strategies and excitement to your gameplay this month. Sam Wilson's transition from Falcon to Captain America is highlighted in this season's pass, which introduces a unique mechanic involving Cap's Shield. At the start of each match, the Shield appears at a random location, and you can move it around the board. While the Shield can't be destroyed, it boosts Sam's power by +2 whenever it's in his location, adding a new layer of tactical depth to your matches.

Throughout February, Marvel Snap will see the addition of several new characters. Joaquín Torres will join the game on February 4th, followed by Iron Patriot and Thaddeus Ross on February 11th. Redwing arrives on February 18th, and Diamondback will close out the month on February 25th. These Series 5 cards will be available through the Token Shop and Spotlight Cache, offering multiple opportunities to add them to your collection.

Two new locations are also being introduced to Marvel Snap this season. The Smithsonian Museum will enhance Ongoing abilities by granting an extra +1 Power per card, while Madripoor will boost the highest-cost cards at its location by +2 Power after each turn. These new environments encourage players to experiment with different deck builds to leverage the strategic opportunities they present.

For collectors, February promises new albums filled with avatars, emotes, and variants. The Viktor Farro album, available from February 4th, will feature a Darkhawk variant and collector's tokens. On February 25th, the Lemon Fashion album will be released, offering exclusive Elsa Bloodstone content.
