Mino: Balance Board, Match Colorful Minos in New Puzzle Game!

A delightful new puzzle game has just hit Android, and it's called Mino. This charming match-3 puzzler brings a fresh twist to the genre. Like other games in this category, your goal is to match three or more identical pieces to clear them. However, Mino introduces an intriguing challenge that sets it apart from the rest.

Mino Needs You to Be Stable

The core mechanic in Mino revolves around balance. As you're making matches, you must also keep the board stable. Failing to do so can cause things to go haywire in no time.

In the game, you place Minos on the board, create matches, and aim to keep the game going as long as possible. But here's the catch—every move you make causes the board to tilt. If you're not strategic, your Minos might slide off, abruptly ending your run. Therefore, in addition to matching them, you must consider how your placements impact the board's balance.

Time is always ticking in Mino, but fortunately, power-ups are there to assist you. You can clear columns, launch rockets to stabilize the board, and use a wildcard Mino that matches with anything. Upgrading these power-ups enhances your chances of lasting longer and achieving a higher score. The game also allows you to unlock and upgrade different Minos to boost your earnings.

Who Are These Minos?

It seems that Otori Studios, the developers behind Mino, drew inspiration from Minions when creating these characters. The Minos certainly remind me of those iconic yellow pill-shaped creatures, albeit available in various colors. Take a look at them and see if you agree!

Mino offers a fun experience with a novel concept and a decent level of challenge. Its playful art style and colorful, monster-like Minos give the game a toy-like vibe. I personally found these little creatures with their tiny spikes and adorable stubby tails quite charming.

You can find Mino on the Google Play Store. It's free to play and available globally now. Don't miss out on this engaging and unique puzzle game!
