For those looking to dive straight into the action, Nintendo is offering a Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle at a suggested retail price of $499.99 in the US. This bundle includes the console and a download code for the Mario Kart World game, available from launch day. If you prefer to purchase Mario Kart World separately, be prepared for a price tag of $79.99.

Currently, you can register your interest with Nintendo for preorders of the Nintendo Switch 2 and its accessories via the My Nintendo Store. Invitations to purchase will be sent out via email on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to users who have a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership and have logged at least 50 gameplay hours by April 2, 2025. After priority users, remaining eligible registrants will receive invitations. Keep in mind, these invitations are non-transferable and valid for 72 hours. Purchases are limited to one system and one of each accessory per account. Major retailers are also expected to start accepting preorders on April 9, 2025.
