Path of Exile 2 Ascendancy Guide: Unlock Your Class Potential

Path of Exile 2's Early Access has players eager to master their chosen class. While subclasses aren't a core feature, Ascendancies add specialized abilities. This guide explains how to unlock and utilize them.

Unlocking Ascendancies

To unlock Ascendancy Classes, complete a Trial of Ascendancy. Early Access offers two: Act 2's Trial of the Sekhemas and Act 3's Trial of Chaos. Completing either unlocks Ascendancy selection and grants two passive Ascendancy Points. The earlier Trial of the Sekhemas is recommended for quicker access to enhanced abilities.
