Pokemon GO Fest 2025 Host Cities Announced

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025 is coming to Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris! Mark your calendars, trainers! While specific details are scarce, the excitement is building. Past events have seen varied ticket prices depending on location, with minor fluctuations year to year.

Despite a slight decline in overall popularity since its launch, Pokémon GO maintains a dedicated global fanbase. The annual Pokémon GO Fest, held in three key cities (plus a global event), remains a major draw, offering unique Pokémon spawns, including region-exclusive and previously unavailable Shiny forms.

The 2025 Fest kicks off in Osaka, Japan (May 29 - June 1), followed by Jersey City, New Jersey (June 6-8), and concludes in Paris, France (June 13-15). Niantic will reveal further information, including pricing and event specifics, as the dates approach.

2024 GO Fest: A Potential Precursor to 2025 Pricing?

The pricing for 2024's Pokémon GO Fest offers clues about potential 2025 costs. Past ticket prices have remained relatively stable, showing regional variations. In 2023 and 2024, Japan saw tickets priced around ¥3500-¥3600, while Europe experienced a price drop from roughly $40 USD in 2023 to $33 in 2024. The US held steady at $30, and global tickets remained at $14.99.

However, recent controversy surrounding a price hike for Pokémon GO Community Day tickets (from $1 to $2 USD) has sparked player concern. This could indicate a potential increase in Pokémon GO Fest ticket prices. Given the negative community reaction to this smaller price increase, Niantic will likely approach any potential GO Fest price adjustments cautiously, especially considering the dedication of in-person attendees.
