Potter Paradise Prepares for Spooky Halloween Update

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery's 2024 Halloween update has arrived, bringing a month of Dark Arts festivities! October and November will see the game transformed with spooky decorations and chilling events.

A Spooky Celebration

The Halloween atmosphere is immediately apparent in Diagon Alley and Hogwarts Castle, both adorned with eerie decorations. New locations also join the Halloween festivities this year.

A house-specific pumpkin hunt offers magical rewards leading up to October 31st. A Creature Expedition challenges players to confront the fearsome Acromantula.

The Swooping Evil, a terrifying creature from "Fantastic Beasts," has infiltrated Hogwarts Castle! A Special Adventure tasks players with assisting Hagrid in capturing it before anyone is harmed.

A new side quest, "The Vampire of Hogsmeade," introduces vampires lurking near Hogwarts, prompting Professor Dumbledore to close Hogsmeade. Uncover the secrets hidden within the fog by unlocking the One-Eyed Witch statue.

New Additions to the Halloween Update

The Hogwarts Diary is a new feature where players solve puzzles through various in-game activities. Each completed diary section unveils artwork through magical inkwells, revealing a larger narrative.

The initial task involves assisting Madam Pince in the library to locate the Lost Spore Scrolls, penned by former Headmistress Professor Phyllida Spore. These scrolls detail the secrets of Hogwarts' magical fungi.
