Should You Pull for Makiatto in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium? Answered

Should you summon Makiatto in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium? The answer is largely yes, but with some important considerations.

Why Makiatto is Worth It:

Makiatto remains a top-tier single-target DPS unit, even in the established Chinese server. Her exceptional damage output makes her a valuable asset. While she's not ideal for automated play and requires some manual control for optimal performance, this is offset by her effectiveness. Her Freeze element synergizes perfectly with Suomi, a top-tier support character, creating a powerful team combination. Even outside of a dedicated Freeze team, Makiatto provides substantial DPS.

Reasons to Skip Makiatto:

However, if you already possess a strong core team, Makiatto might be less crucial. Specifically, if your account boasts Qiongjiu, Suomi, and Tololo, Makiatto's impact could be minimal. Tololo, despite a potential late-game DPS decrease (rumored to be addressed by future buffs in the CN version), provides solid early-game performance. With Qiongjiu, Suomi, and potentially Sharkry, your team might already be sufficiently powerful. In this scenario, saving resources for future units like Vector and Klukay would be a wiser strategy. Only consider Makiatto if you urgently need a second strong DPS unit for boss fights or to bolster a second team.

Ultimately, the decision hinges on your existing roster. If you lack a strong single-target DPS unit, Makiatto is an excellent choice. But if your team is already well-equipped, consider holding onto your resources for future characters. For more Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium guides and strategies, check out The Escapist.
