Fans of the animated series *Solar Opposites* will need to prepare for an emotional farewell as Hulu has officially announced that the upcoming sixth season will be the show's last. Scheduled to premiere in the final quarter of 2025, this news marks the end of a beloved journey for the series.
The renewal for Season 6 was announced in mid-2024, but there was no indication at that time that it would also be the final chapter for the show. *Solar Opposites*, which debuted in 2020, follows the humorous and often chaotic lives of an alien family stranded on Earth after their home planet's destruction. The series has been a standout in the adult animated genre, crafted by the creative minds behind *Star Trek: Lower Decks*, Mike McMahan, and *Rick & Morty* co-creator Justin Roiland.
It's worth noting that Justin Roiland, one of the show's original creators, was removed from *Solar Opposites* in 2023 following charges of domestic violence. Although these charges were later dropped, Roiland did not return to the series. Instead, the role of the lead voice actor was seamlessly transitioned to the talented English actor, Dan Stevens, who has successfully filled the void left by Roiland.
