Star Leap Producer Shinya Fujimatsu elaborated on the decision to develop the game for mobile platforms, stating, "Our goal was to make Suikoden accessible to as many people as possible. Mobile devices are the most convenient for gamers, and we wanted to ensure that Star Leap truly embodies the spirit of Suikoden.
