World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Turbulent Timeways Returns!
Get ready for a Timewalking marathon! World of Warcraft's Turbulent Timeways event is back, offering seven consecutive weeks of Timewalking campaigns until February 24th. This extended event provides players with ample opportunities to earn fantastic rewards, including a wealth of Timewarped Badges, a significant experience boost, and exciting new loot.
This event expands upon the popular September 2023 iteration, which featured five weeks of Timewalking. The core gameplay remains the same: complete Timewalking dungeons to earn a stackable buff, Mastery of Timeways, culminating in a 20% experience bonus after four dungeons. However, this time around, the rewards are even more substantial.
The Timewalking Adventure Continues:
The seven-week journey through WoW's history begins with Mists of Pandaria on January 7th and concludes with Cataclysm the week of February 18th. Each week features a different expansion's Timewalking content, including quests, dungeons, and raids. The coveted Mastery of Timeways buff returns, offering a significant advantage for leveling and gearing.

Rewards and Achievements:
Achieve Mastery of Timeways for five out of the seven weeks to unlock the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement and claim the adorable Timely Buzzbee mount. Timewalking vendors across all expansions boast new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. The Sandy Shalewing pet, previously unavailable, is also making a comeback. Furthermore, completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest grants Heroic-level gear throughout the event.
Looking Ahead:
With the recent 20th-anniversary event's 11 weeks of Timewalking, this event extends the Timewalking streak to a remarkable 18 consecutive weeks! The Turbulent Timeways' conclusion on February 24th hints at future plans. Given Blizzard's usual release schedule, this strongly suggests that Patch 11.1, Undermined, will launch on February 25th, marking a thrilling start to 2025 for World of Warcraft players. This exciting period also includes the second run of Plunderstorm (January 14th-February 17th) and the upcoming major content update for The War Within.
