Verdansk Boosts Warzone, Developers Confirm Its Staying

Author : Elijah Apr 17,2025

Verdansk has undeniably injected new life into Call of Duty: Warzone, and its timing couldn't be more perfect. After the internet had branded Activision's five-year-old battle royale as "cooked," the nostalgia-driven return of Verdansk has sparked a resurgence. Now, the online community is proclaiming Warzone "back." Despite the dramatic event of Activision nuking Verdansk, it appears to have had little impact. They discussed the success of Verdansk's Casual mode, entertained the idea of limiting operator skins to mil-sim for an authentic 2020 vibe, and addressed the pressing question on everyone's mind: is Verdansk here to stay?
