Nintendo is set to delight fans by adding the beloved Game Boy Advance title, Wario Land 4, to the Nintendo Switch Online library on February 14. This exciting news was unveiled with a captivating trailer, showcasing the game that will be accessible at no additional cost to users with a Nintendo Switch Online membership and the Expansion Pass.

"The misguided Wario is back, and this time he's in search of riches," the game's synopsis teases. "Ignoring all warning signs, Wario decides to enter a cursed pyramid rumored to be filled with gold and jewels. Our anti-hero quickly learns that the curse is no laughing matter, realizing he'll be lucky to escape alive."

The game features 20 expansive stages for players to conquer. Throughout the adventure, players can collect gold and treasure, which can be used to purchase bonus items after each stage. Additionally, players can take a break and enjoy the title's charming mini-games.

Upon its release in 2001, Wario Land 4 received high acclaim, scoring a 9/10 from IGN. The review praised the game's variety in design and its challenging nature, noting that it goes beyond typical side-scrolling games by encouraging players to figure out how to navigate to specific locations within each level.

Wario Land 4 marks the 24th Game Boy Advance game to join the Nintendo Switch Online library, alongside other classics such as Mario Kart: Super Circuit, The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team.
