Microsoft has recently unveiled two stunning Witcher 3-themed Xbox controllers to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. These special edition controllers are now available exclusively through the Microsoft Store, with the standard version priced at $79.99 and the Elite Series 2 at $169.99. As a fan of the game, it's thrilling to see such a milestone being honored in such a cool way.

Both controllers boast striking designs inspired by Geralt of Rivia, featuring his iconic wolf medallion etched into the center. Additionally, they incorporate Glagolitic script, the ancient Slavic alphabet used within the game, adding an authentic touch. The right grip showcases the red claw marks that represent the "III" in the game's title, making these controllers a true collector's item.

While the design is the highlight, the functionality remains identical to their standard counterparts. As someone who finds the current Xbox controller to be the best I've ever used—comfortable, durable, and able to withstand the rough play of my kids—these Witcher-themed versions are a fantastic addition.

The Elite Series 2 model offers enhanced features to justify its higher price, including adjustable-tension thumbsticks, hair trigger locks, and a wrap-around rubberized grip. It also comes with interchangeable components such as various thumbstick heights, different D-pad designs, and customizable rear paddles.

These new controllers are compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android devices, making them versatile for a variety of gaming setups. For those in non-Xbox households, you might also be interested in the newly announced Death Stranding 2-themed PS5 controller, which is currently available for preorder.
