Rebel Wolves, a Polish studio founded by key figures from The Witcher 3, is poised to launch Dawnwalker in 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox. Alberto Gonzalez Lorca, Bandai Namco's VP of business development, emphasized Dawnwalker's importance to their Western market strategy.
A Team of Experienced Developers
Leading the charge is Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, a CD Projekt Red veteran and lead quest designer on The Witcher 3, who serves as Rebel Wolves' creative director. Co-founder and narrative director Jakub Szamalek, also a CDPR veteran, confirms Dawnwalker as a new IP with a scope comparable to The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine expansion, promising a non-linear narrative and replayability. Tomaszkiewicz highlights the game's focus on player choice and experimentation.
