Monster Hunter Wilds will launch with a PS5 Pro patch. A recent community update stream (December 19th) featured director Yuya Tokuda and other staff, discussing improvements and adjustments based on the Open Beta Test (OBT).

The stream revealed target console performance: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will offer "Prioritize Graphics" (4K, 30fps) and "Prioritize Framerate" (1080p, 60fps) modes. Xbox Series S will run natively at 1080p, 30fps. A rendering bug in the framerate mode has been fixed, resulting in improved performance.
