How to Play
Town of Salem accommodates between 7 to 15 players, each randomly assigned to one of several alignments: Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, or Neutrals. If you're part of the Town (the good guys), your mission is to identify and eliminate the Mafia and other villains before they take you down. The twist? You won't know who's on your side and who's plotting against you.
For those with an evil role, like a Serial Killer, your task is to covertly eliminate town members under the cover of night while evading detection.
Roles
With 33 unique roles, every game of Town of Salem promises a fresh experience. Before the game begins, players gather in a lobby where the host can select the roles to be included. Once the game starts, roles are randomly assigned from the selected list, and each player receives an in-game role card detailing their abilities and alignment. Game Phases
Night
During the night phase, many roles execute their abilities. Serial Killers carry out their deadly missions, Doctors protect potential victims, and Sheriffs investigate for signs of foul play.
Day
The day phase is your chance to strategize with fellow Town members and pinpoint suspects. When the voting phase begins, a majority vote can lead to a trial.
Defense
In the defense phase, you'll need to convincingly argue your innocence to avoid the gallows.
Judgement
The town then decides your fate during the judgement phase, voting you as guilty, innocent, or choosing to abstain. A majority of guilty votes results in a hanging.
Customization
Personalize your experience by selecting your map (town setting), character, pet, lobby icon, death animation, house, and a unique name, all of which are visible to other players in the game.
Achievements
