Tyler's 'First Proper Update' v0.3.4 Now Available for Testing

Author : Benjamin May 06,2025

The indie sensation Drug Dealer Simulator Schedule I continues to captivate players on Steam, maintaining its status as one of the platform's most-played games. Developer Tyler has released the first significant post-launch update, version 0.3.4, which is currently available for testing on the beta branch. Tyler shared on the game’s Steam page that the update will remain in beta for a short period, allowing players to opt-in and provide feedback before its official release.

According to Tyler, the beta version of 0.3.4 doesn’t include all the features slated for the full release, but it does introduce several new additions. “This beta doesn't quite contain 100% of the features coming in the full release,” he stated. “I'll be adding a few more decorative objects tomorrow [April 8]. I wanted to get this beta out ASAP so that the new wall-mounted objects and pawn shop interface can be thoroughly trialled.”

Schedule I achieved remarkable success upon its launch, becoming the top-selling game on Steam. It outshone major titles such as Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals, fueled by its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In the game, players start as a small-time drug dealer in the gritty city of Hyland Point and work their way up to becoming a kingpin, managing the production and distribution of various drugs. Players can expand their empire through properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

Developed and published by TVGS, the Australian indie developer known as Tyler, he described the game's explosive launch as “amazing but pretty overwhelming.” In a Reddit post, Tyler expressed his gratitude and surprise, saying, “I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched.”
