Mindi is an engaging, team-based trick-taking card game that's free to play online! Designed for four players divided into two opposing teams, Mindi uses a standard 52-card deck. The player who draws the highest card becomes the first dealer, who shuffles and deals 13 cards to each player. The game offers two exciting modes: Hide Mode and Cut Mode.
In Hide Mode, the player to the right of the dealer selects a card and places it face down on the table to declare the trump suit for that round. In Cut Mode, if a player cannot follow suit, the card they play becomes the trump for that deal. The highest card of the trump suit played in a trick wins it; otherwise, the highest card of the led suit takes the trick. The winner of each trick leads the next one, and captured tricks are kept face down.
The ultimate goal is to capture tricks containing tens. If a team captures three or four tens, they win the hand. Capturing all four tens results in a "Mendicot," a significant achievement in the game.
